As a kitchen helper...

Are you an indispensable part of our kitchen team. You ensure that the kitchen remains sleek, clean and well supplied, so that the team can run at full capacity. From cutting and portioning for the mise-en-place to replenishing stocks and assisting with the dishes: no day is the same, no challenge too big; and that's exactly what makes working at Wijck so much fun. You work under the guidance of experienced chefs who teach you the tricks of the trade.

What are you going to do?

• Independently (prepare) and prepare the dishes.
• You help with the mise-en-place: cutting, portioning and preparing ingredients.
• You keep the kitchen clean and organized, including dishwashing.
• You replenish stocks and ensure that everything is within reach for the kitchen team.
• You work closely with the chefs and learn more and more about kitchen processes in the meantime.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
